Scintellix and Cryptography: The raison d'etre

Scintellix is in partnership with Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News to create quarterly Cryptogram Challenges whose
themes derive from biomedical science.  These draw hundreds of participants together over a period of months to solve a
complex visual puzzle.  In this way, each serves as a motif for what we do when we apply
Decide-S3 Analytics-TM  to
complex business problems - each requires a process of untangling information to achieve clarity.

The history of the series is available through these links:

1.
MicroArray Challenge - 2008  Meet the winners, here.  Purchase the limited edition poster here.
2.
Cryptogram Challenge: Elisa - 2009  Meet the winners, here.  Purchase the limited edition shirt here.
3. Cryptogram Challenge: Elisa Redux - 2009  Meet the winners, here.
4.
RNAi Cryptogram Challenge - 2010 - Recently solved!  The winner will be featured in an upcoming edition of Genetic
Engineering & Biotechnology News.

Note - In
all cases but one thus far, the Cryptogram Challenges have been solved by teams.

Breaking News!  The RNAi-2 Cryptogram Challenge, the fifth in the series of Cryptogram Challenges has recently been
launched.  Created by
Scintellix and Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News, the RNAi-2 Cryptogram Challenge is
sponsored by
Invitrogen.  The first 150 registrants will receive a special t-shirt that is decorated with an image derived from
the cryptogram itself, a process known as
Scientific Derivative Art.  Whomever first cracks the code will receive $1,500 and a
bench top device from
Invitrogen.  Register for the Challenge by clicking here.
